Wedding Ring Winners Are In!
September 15, 2010—Los Angeles, CA— After reviewing a month’s worth of submissions from couples nationwide, David Tishbi Handcrafted Jewelry has chosen six winning couples from the Wedding Ring Giveaway. The names are as listed: Mayra Y, Jacob S, Nicole S, Karen M, Betty M, and finally Jane S. “We received so many applicants with touching stories, it was a tough decision.” David Tishbi will give each couple their choice of bands from the Eternity Collection.
For the first time ever, David Tishbi Handcrafted Jewelry sponsored its own Wedding Ring Giveaway, celebrating twelve years in business and the launch of the NEW Eternity Collection. The wedding bands given away are Sterling Silver and 14k Yellow or Rose Gold combinations, ranging in price from $129 to $624.
The sweepstakes was open to all couples getting ready to be married who could not afford to buy wedding rings. Additionally. Couples had to submit a copy of their marriage license along with their story to be eligible. There were so many touching stories, Mayra who had to pawn her rings to be able to afford diapers and put food on the table. Jane who lost everything she and her fiancé own in a flood. The one that really stuck out was Jacob, who wrote on behalf of his parents. His mother had to quit her job because of unethical reasons, had to trade her ring in to help support the families finances. Jacobs said “They’ve worked very hard, suffered, and given so much and I wish I could give something back to them”.
It is stories like these that remind us of the importance of helping out those who need it most. David Tishbi wanted to do this giveaway to help those in need. As part of its continued mission, the company donates a portion of their profits to Charity.
